PFD members‘ statement on the eve of an eventual big war in the Eastern Europe

PARLIAMENTARY FORUM FOR DEMOCRACY MEMBERS‘ STATEMENT ON THE EVE OF AN EVENTUAL BIG WAR IN THE EASTERN EUROPE

March 27, 2014
Brussels

We, the members of the Parliamentary Forum for Democracy convened at the General Assembly and Governing Council meeting have discussed profoundly aggressive behavior of Russia attacking Ukraine, military occupation and annexation of Ukrainian territory -Autonomous Republic of the Crimea.
If Mr. Putin is marching to Kyiv these days, he is marching out of the United Nations. International legal order for peace must stay not-disintegrated even without “rogue-state” Russia.
The crazy idea to building up of the new Russian empire on the ashes of the newly conquested territories will not succeed for a longer time, and fascist-type policies of the Kremlin will crumble.
On behalf of the idea of democracy we are calling all world democracies to not stay indifferent facing greatest menace to the European civilization. Say “NO”!
