The secretariat

 

The Secretariat of the Parliamentary Forum for Democracy is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Secretariat is headed by the Secretary General.

 

The Secretary General is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Parliamentary Forum, reporting to the Chair; assumes responsibility for the development of the Parliamentary Forum, including fundraising and building support around the world; provides administrative and staff management of the Secretariat of the General Assembly; implements the budget as decided by the General Assembly; performs other tasks which are  assigned to him by the Governing Council; and carries out other activities decided by the Governing Council or foreseen in the PFD Articles of Association, the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania and the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Associations.
